Mindful Gathering

Mindfulness is the awareness arising from paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgmentally. It is also about compassionate acceptance of ourselves. “Mindful Gathering” encourages us to nourish ourselves through various mindfulness practices such as sitting, stretching, walking, and body scan. A mindfulness teacher from the Jockey Club “Peace and Awareness” Mindfulness Culture in Schools Initiative (JC PandA) will provide guided mindfulness practices in March. Students, staff, alumni and the general public are welcome to join.
This month’s Mindful Gathering invites you to join our “Mindful Photography” event at HKU’s Main Building. With an open and curious mind, we will practise noticing our surroundings with awareness and capturing what we encounter along the way. Event details are as follows:

Note: This event invites participants to use their personal smartphones to take photos. Bringing professional cameras or related equipment is not recommended.
