“I Have Arrived” Parent-child Film Appreciation and Sharing Session Resource Package Dissemination Workshop
JC PandA and the Education Bureau are collaborating to host the “I Have Arrived” Parent-child Film Appreciation and Sharing Session Resource Package Dissemination Workshop for educational and helping professionals working in school settings.
The workshop will introduce participants to the basic concepts of mindfulness, so that participants can have a grasp over the core foundations of mindfulness and better understand how to integrate mindfulness into school environments. Next, the ideologies behind mindful parenting will be explored, along with discussions on how to use mindful parenting to promote the mental wellbeing of parents and their children. The third part will be a live demontration of the “I Have Arrived” Parent-child Film Appreciation and Sharing Session, which includes the showing of the movie “I Have Arrived”, directive discussions and sharings about the movie, and the introduction to the Mindful Popcorn kit. Through this workshop, participants can learn how to host the activity within community or educational settings.
