The HKU Research Hub of Population Studies (Pop Hub) RPg Students’ Network aims to foster academic growth and community building among students interested in population studies across the HKU campus. It organises regular events, including research sessions, student presentations of their work, faculty talks, and more. These gatherings provide valuable opportunities for RPg students to showcase their research, engage with peers, and benefit from faculty mentorship.

Coordinators of this network are Ms Minhui Liu (Faculty of Social Sciences) and Ms Angie Han (Faculty of Architecture). If you are interested in joining the Network, please register here or scan the below QR code. All RPg students at HKU are welcome to join.

**Exclusive opportunity for full-time RPg students under the Faculty of Social Sciences**

The Pop Hub offers conference support for active network affiliates. The fund, amounting to HK$8,000 per award, is usually announced in February each year and supports conference presentations from March to February of the following year. The selection criteria for receiving financial support are based on affiliates’ participation and engagement (requiring participation in at least five events and activities) organized by the Pop Hub and RPg Students’ Network, such as monthly seminars, conferences, and research sharing and meetings with other postgraduate students (both TPg and RPg students). Active involvement in these activities demonstrates a commitment to the Pop Hub community and fosters a culture of academic exchange and collaboration.
