An International Symposium will be held from July 11 – 13, 2019 at the University of Hong Kong on the theme of “Water Sustainability,” to consolidate the Project’s key lessons, and to facilitate an intellectual exchange among the participants on key policy and practical challenges in the pursuit of water sustainability goals.

The International Symposium aims at providing a platform for meaningful discussions on such topics as sustainable water policy and management practices, application of the Water Footprint concept, and river revitalisation and community engagement. The target audiences include policy-makers, the larger research and professional community concerned with sustainable development issues and water resources, local and overseas environmental NGOs, and the general public.
