In an attempt to provide parents with useful guides to helping their children integrate into mainstream schools, Heep Hong Society’s social worker team have, based on 15 case studies, published this parent manual, which expounds on challenges faced by students with SEN and their parents, and suggests feasible measures to support children with special needs so that they could enjoy and benefit from their school life to the fullest. The manual was sponsored by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant. |
