Abstract: | Many parents of children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disorders or delays have neither the knowledge nor the tools to face the challenging caretaking tasks. With support from the professionals and experts of World Health Organization and Autism Speaks, together with the experiences from the parents of needy children, the World Health Organization Caregiver Skills Training (WHO-CST) was developed, and it is currently being implemented in more than 30 regions worldwide.
2021 marks the final year of the WHO-CST research project in Hong Kong. JC A-Connect is honoured to have invited renowned research teams to share the preliminary findings and the implementation process wisdom of WHO-CST conducted in Chinese societies. The webinar is also a platform to discuss the sustainability and collaboration opportunities of WHO-CST in the future. |
