“Bus Routaflex” Board Game X Open-top Double Decker Sightseeing Tour

To enhance the problem-solving and flexibility skills of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), JC A-Connect, in collaboration with TWGHs Ho Yuk Ching Educational Psychology Service Centre, has designed and launched “Bus Routaflex” Board Game. On July 6, 2024, the “Bus Routaflex” Board Game X Open-top Double Decker Sightseeing Tour was organised together with the Faculty of Social Sciences, The University of Hong Kong.

On the day of the event, 60 parent-child boarded the open-top double-decker bus, which travelled along the route passing by the Ting Kau Bridge and the Lantau Link Viewing Platform, where they could enjoy the beautiful scenery of Tsing Yi. As the participants arrived at the TWGHs Chow Yin Sum Primary School, Ms. Lo Ting Yan, Diane, educational psychologist of TWGHs Ho Yuk Ching Educational Psychology Service Centre told the story of a picture book namely “Camping is like Riding on the X42C Bus”, who are also author of the picture book. The participants then split into groups to play the board game. After that, Ms. Lo shared practical tips with the parents about the application of board game and picture book. Upon completion of the event, all participants received a set of board game, picture book, and souvenirs from JC A-Connect.
