Training

The 1 ha demonstration plot at HKUKC has been used as a training centre on forest research and climate change issues. Training workshops were targeted at HSBC staff, teachers and students of secondary schools and universities of Hong Kong as well as leaders in local green groups. HSBC staff being trained became 'volunteer leaders' who will help run future public outreach programmes. The training workshops were primarily focused on the scientific monitoring of forest dynamics.
