The Faculty of Social Sciences was established in 1967 and has since then undergone rapid expansion and significant transformation. The Faculty currently consists of the Departments of Politics and Public Administration, Psychology, Social Work and Social Administration and Sociology. Eight multi-disciplinary research centres have been formed in the Faculty, providing the platform for inter- and intra-faculty collaboration to pursue excellence in research and teaching.
