JC AConnect Introduction

In view of the increasing number of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Hong Kong’s mainstream primary and secondary schools, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust initiated the “JC A-Connect: Jockey Club Autism Support Network” (JC A-Connect) in 2015. The first of its kind in the city, JC A-Connect provides holistic support for children with ASD attending mainstream schools, and their parents by involving in cross-sectoral collaboration to help enhance support for children with ASD at home, school and in the community. The progamme also aims to contribute to the sustainable development of ASD support services.

Project Brief

The JC A-Connect project website has been operating with the current visual design architecture with minor changes since 2015. As the project has shifted its focus and the website has added content, the architecture and navigation have been increasingly complicated. And, more new content will also be added to the website on a continual basis. We wish to improve the navigation paths to make it easier for visitors to find relevant content and bring in a more responsive and modern design. The website will serve as a hub for the ASD community not only for the city, but also the globe.

Requirements

Time:	No specific time frame for now but the project should be done as soon as possible. Please suggest one if needed.

Additional Requirements:	All codes involved must be fully deliverable and handed back to HKU at the end of this project
