The Experiential Learning team is dedicated to supporting a safe and accessible environment for all students with Special Educational Needs. As a work-integrated learning opportunity, SIGC allows students to put classroom learning in practice as well as growing their workplace competency and future readiness. We encourage students to come to our consultation sessions to discuss their special needs.

DISABILITY DISCLOSURE

Disclosure (Personal decision)

To enhance your access to support and foster a more inclusive and equitable workplace for everyone, the Experiential Learning team encourages students planning to apply for internships to disclose their needs to the team as early as possible. Reasonable adjustment/accommodation can be discussed. Come join us at the individual consultation sessions where the EL team can work out suitable choices of internship placements (location/ work nature/ work schedule etc.) and discuss disclosure plans with you.
