The aim of these four workshops is to introduce students to run linear, logistic and multilevel regression models using the statistical software package R. Students will learn about the underlying concepts and assumptions of linear and logistic regression models, as well as the theory of multilevel models (also known as hierarchical linear models, linear mixed-effect model, mixed models, nested data models, random coefficient, random-effects models).

Students are encouraged to attend all the workshops, but those with some knowledge of linear regression models can attend workshop 3 directly (Multilevel Regression in R- Part 1). Similarly, those with some knowledge of logistic Regression models can attend workshop 4 directly (Multilevel Regression in R- Part 2).
