This global research initiative has been launched at a conference hosted by The University of Hong Kong on October 23-25, 2008. Subsequent major conferences will be hosted by New York University in July/August 2010 and King's College London in October/November 2012. |

In addition to these major events, sectoral workshops will be convened by sub-groups operating within the programme's overall framework. Throughout, senior policymakers and officials will be invited to take part in the programme and contribute to its research agenda. |
