About the Conference

The Hong Kong ASD Conference 2018 is organised by JC A-Connect: Jockey Club Autism Support Network, which aims at sharing and discussing the latest research and good practices to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), their families, and schools. It provides a platform for wisdom sharing and knowledge exchange among experts, professionals, educators, caregivers, and interested parties.

With 'Autism and Education: What Works' as its theme, this Conference will focus on the support rendered to students with ASD in mainstream primary and secondary schools. Participants will:

  • learn about the current practice, issues and emerging trends of inclusive education for children with ASD in the international scene;

  • learn about the developments in evidence-based practice and good practices in secondary schools;

  • learn about the latest developments in services for children and adolescents with ASD and their families in Hong Kong and other regions; and

  • have opportunities to share with other stakeholders and discuss research findings, good practices, and services.

Please join us and share your expertise and experience with others who have the same passion for promoting the welfare of children with ASD.
