Dear student,

Your application for the Student-Initiated Internship for Summer 2026 has been approved and endorsed by the Faculty as eligible to fulfil your 12-credit Social Innovation/Global Citizenship requirement.

To finalise your internship arrangements and proceed with your course enrolment, please complete this mandatory confirmation form by May 26, 2026 (Tuesday).

Understanding Your Course Enrolment Options:
For the Student-Initiated Internship, the 12-credit Social Innovation/Global Citizenship requirement is fulfilled by completing two 6-credit courses:

FOSS2024/FOSS2026 (Global) Experiential Learning I: Field Immersion (Pass/Fail)*: This course focuses on your actual internship experience. Assessments include pre-internship workshops, a professional competence portfolio, and a post-internship debriefing exercise.
FOSS2025/FOSS2027 (Global) Experiential Learning II: Advanced Praxis (Graded): This course focuses on academic integration. Assessments include a theory-to-practice mapping exercise, an integrative written analysis with oral articulation, and a multimedia presentation.

[*Course details are provisional and subject to final approval by the University.]

In the confirmation form, you are required to choose how you wish to schedule these courses:

Option 1: Concurrently (Both in Summer 2026)
You will enrol in both FOSS2024/FOSS2026 and FOSS2025/FOS2027 during the summer. This means you will complete your practical internship duties and all graded academic analyses and presentations at the same time before the summer ends. Choose this option if you prefer to finish all requirements in the summer and can manage a concentrated workload.
Option 2: Consecutively (Summer 2026 and First Semester of 2026-27)
You will enrol in FOSS2024/FOSS2026 during the summer and FOSS2025/FOSS2027 in the First Semester of the following academic year. This allows you to focus purely on your internship performance during the summer, and then tackle the graded academic assignments and presentations during the upcoming First Semester. This helps spread your workload.

Important Note: Please consider your schedule and workload carefully before submitting the form. Once your decision has been submitted, your enrolment sequence cannot be changed.
