SIGC Video Competition – to win the Cash Prize!

Dear SIGCers,

Enjoy viewing others’ reels and stories on social media? What about creating one of your own to capture your internship experience? Now it comes the chance, with opportunity winning a cash prize!

The Faculty of Social Sciences is thrilled to announce the launch of our Video Competition. “Lens on Action; Stories for Impact” – let’s showcase your unique journey by telling your internship story.

Registration Period –
From May 1, 2025 (Thursday) to May 31, 2025 (Saturday)

How to apply –
• Team up to form a group of up to 3 students, or join on your own

What you need to do –
Whether you’ve already completed your SIGC internship or will be embarking on it in Summer 2025, create a 3-minute video to showcase your internship experience through a vlog, an interview, an animation or whatever innovative and fun approach that you could think of. Show us your passion, insights, and impact to inspire others!

Milestones –
• May – Register & Share: First 20 teams to receive a Starter Kit
• June – Workshops & Mini-Challenges: A chance of winning a HK$100 voucher
• July – Mid-term Check-in: An opportunity to receive a HK$500 voucher
• August – Final Video: To earn a Completion Certificate
• September – Award Presentation: The winning team(s) will receive cash prize(s) of up to HK$10,000!
