SIGC Peer Support Programme

Dear Current and Previous SIGC Interns,

Are you a Faculty of Social Sciences student who has completed or is currently undertaking your Student-Initiated Global Citizenship (SIGC) internship this Summer 2025? Do you have at least one academic year remaining at HKU after Summer 2025 (i.e., not graduating before May 2026)? We invite you to apply as one of 5 paid SIGC Peers in the SIGC Peer Support Programme, where you will empower peers with career skills and support their SIGC applications!

Details:
Role: SIGC Peer (5 SIGC Peers needed for October 2025 to April 2026) (HK$70/hr)

Responsibilities:
– Deliver up to 4 virtual 30-minute sessions per month from October 2025 to April 2026, providing tailored advice on CV/cover letter writing, interview preparation, and SIGC internship applications.
– Share your internship experiences to inform best practices.
– Support the development of the SIGC programme through assisting in resource development.

Training: A comprehensive training session will be provided to prepare you for this role

– Have completed or are currently undertaking a SIGC internship.
