The Faculty of Social Sciences at HKU warmly invites you to join our Career Chat Programme—a meaningful opportunity to inspire and guide our students through one-on-one online career conversations. As our valued internship partners, your expertise will empower students to excel in their Social Innovation and Global Citizenship (SIGC) internship applications and broader career journeys.

What is the Career Chat Programme?
This initiative connects professionals like you with students for 30–45 minute virtual conversations. These sessions provide a space to share your career journey, industry insights, and practical advice for SIGC applications and future career choices.

Why Participate?
– Make an Impact: Empower students to navigate with real-world insights to navigate SIGC and career paths
– Stay Connected: Strengthen ties with the Faculty and engage with emerging talent
– Maximum Flexibility: Participate on your terms—sessions are scheduled based on your availability

What We Need From You
– A Short Profile – including your name, current role, and a few lines about your career journey or interests
– Your Availability – indicating how often you are open to chats (up to 2 sessions/month) and your general availability (e.g., “Weekdays 4–7pm”)
– Your Consent – giving permission to share your profile with students and be contacted by the Faculty to arrange sessions
