Flexible Mentoring Formats:
Based on your preferences and mentoring style, you may choose the formats that suit you best:
  • One-on-One Mentoring: Provide personalised guidance to student teams.
  • Panel Mentoring: Participate in group sessions, offering diverse perspectives and insights with other mentors.
  • Hybrid Mentoring: Engage in both formats to offer comprehensive support and maximise your impact.
Matching Mechanism:
You will be matched with a student team based on your area of expertise and the specific needs of each project.
Duration: The mentorship cycle lasts for one year.
Schedule and structure:
  • Monthly meetings throughout the cycle
  • Each session will last 60 minutes
  • Mentorship sessions can be conducted in person or online
  • Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed to support the team
Mentors will also be invited to complete a brief feedback survey at the midpoint and at the end of the Programme, so we can continuously enhance the quality and impact of the mentorship journey.
Mentor Responsibilities:
As a mentor, you will serve as both a critical friend and a strategic advisor. You will:
  1. Provide Targeted Expertise: Share your experience and sector knowledge to help student teams avoid common pitfalls, refine their ideas, and make better-informed decisions.

  3. Improve Venture Models: Provide constructive feedback on their business models to help them design ventures that are both scalable and sustainable.
  4. Expand Networks: Connect teams, where appropriate, with your social and professional networks, industry peers, and potential collaborators to help grow their ventures.
  5. Navigate Funding: Offer guidance on where and how to find investors and funding opportunities to finance their growth.
Community Rules:
By registering as a mentor, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the following guidelines and commit to uphold them throughout my participation in the Programme:
  1. Commit to the full mentoring cycle and the mutually agreed-upon meeting schedule
  2. Provide constructive feedback while empowering students to make the final decisions
  3. Comply with the Programme’s Non-Disclosure Agreement
