  • Awardees’ Briefing and Rehearsal (Compulsory): 1:30pm (Latecomers arriving after 1:30pm will NOT be presented on stage).

Important Notes

  1. You are required to wear lounge suit in dark colours.  You will NOT be presented on stage if you are not in formal dressing.
  2. Registration will start at 1:00pm.  The awardee’s briefing and rehearsal (Compulsory) will start at 1:30pm sharp.  Latecomers arriving after 1:30pm will NOT be presented on stage.
  3. Professional photographers will take group photos for each presented award.  Individual request for photos will NOT be entertained.  The Faculty will not be responsible for any unsatisfactory/poor quality photographs.
  4. In view of the limited seating capacity, each registered student can invite a maximum of 2 guests (children under 6 is not permitted) to join the Ceremony.  Seats inside Lok Yew Hall will be offered on a first-come-first served basis to guests according to the registration time.  If the venue is full, guests will be arranged to watch the livestream in reserved rooms next to Loke Yew Hall.
  5. A confirmation email as admissions ticket will be sending to you via email by Tuesday February 28, 2023NO admission for students and guests will be allowed without the confirmation email.
  6. If you are unable to attend the Ceremony, the certificates will be available for collection from the Faculty Office (11/F, The Jockey Club Tower, Centennial Campus, HKU) from March 7 to 31, 2023.

  1. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation and in accordance with recommendations on social distancing and group gatherings, the Faculty has decided to hold the Ceremony on a smaller scale this year, and that only the awardees will be invited to attend. Despite so, the Ceremony will be broadcast live online so that family and friends can watch the Ceremony and share the joy remotely.
  2. The Faculty will keep monitoring the situation and make appropriate adjustments to the Ceremony arrangements whenever required. While the Faculty will make our best to host the Ceremony, we reserve the right to cancel the Ceremony without prior notice due to the evolving pandemic circumstances. Please stay tuned for our updates in due course.
  3. If you have any questions regarding the arrangements of the Student Prize Presentation Ceremony 2021, please contact the Faculty Office by email at nwyhung@hku.hk.
