{"id":5705,"date":"2019-03-26T14:24:16","date_gmt":"2019-03-26T06:24:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.socsc.hku.hk\/jcwise\/?page_id=5705"},"modified":"2021-08-17T11:52:41","modified_gmt":"2021-08-17T03:52:41","slug":"world-water-day-2019","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.socsc.hku.hk\/jcwise\/world-water-day-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebration of World Water Day 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"subtitle greydark\" style=\"border-bottom: 2px solid #74cee4;\">Celebration of World Water Day 2019<\/h1>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]To celebrate the World Water Day, JC-WISE launched the \u201cWater Wise Campus\u201d campaign and \u201cWater Wise Tram\u201d on March 22, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Through the first joint effort between a local University and its catering outlets across the campus, \u201cWater Wise Campus\u201d enables the University community and general public to understand the connections between our daily dietary habit and their impacts on freshwater resources, as well as the notion of avoiding water wastage by reducing food waste.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>JC-WISE also presents the \u201cWater Wise Tram\u201d which will service through Hong Kong from March 22 to April 19, 2019, with the aim to raising public\u2019s awareness of the importance of water sustainability.
