Requirements
The Institute is open to university students from any academic discipline who are interested in learning about the recent development of China and Asia on the world stage. Applicants should have completed at least one year of study at their home institution and be proficient in English and computing.

Application Materials
1. A short essay of 500 words to state the reason for joining the programme
2. An original university transcript
3. Copies of documentary evidence of English proficiency (e.g. IELTS/TOEFL result slips, if your first language is not English)
4. Colour copy of passport (valid for at least 6 months)
5. HKID Card and/or "Mainland Travel Permitfor Hong Kong and Macau Residents" (in Chinese, 港澳居民來往內地通行証或回鄉咭) (if applicable)
6. Passport size photo


Rolling Admission
Your application will be reviewed as soon as your application materials are received. The earlier you apply, the more likely your application will be accepted. If you wait to apply until or near the application deadline, your application may not be accepted because of space limitations. Most often, a final decision will be made once an application is reviewed. If a decision cannot be made, it will be placed on "wait list".

Receive Notice of Admission by Mail and Email Late April, 2015
Indicate your Acceptance of Offer by sign and return the Notice of Admission and Pay the Programme Fee As Indicated on Your Admission Letter
Apply for Hong Kong Student Visa, and other travel documents (e.g. Macau, Chinese and Korea Tourist Visa, if necessary) As Soon As Possible
Upload Logistics Reply Form and Assumption of Risk and Release Form May 15, 2015
Receive Pre-Arrival Materials Early June, 2015
