This advanced workshop aims to enhance skills and knowledge among policy makers and researchers in using economic evidence to inform social policies related to old age mental health. In the workshop, Professor Martin Knapp will lead discussions on cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness analyses, based on real-world examples covering a range of common mental health issues in old age. Participants will gain insight into the methods and applications of mental health economics in policies in the UK and internationally.
