Biography

Professor Kirsten Grønbjerg is a nationally recognized scholar on nonprofit and public sector relationships. She has been with SPEA since 1997 and is also an adjunct professor in the Sociology Department. In addition, Professor Grønbjerg holds the Efroymson Chair in Philanthropy at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University, located at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), where she is also professor of Philanthropic Studies.

Mr. Leong Cheung is the Executive Director of Charities & Community at The Hong Kong Jockey Club since 2014. The Hong Kong Jockey Club donates close to HK$ 4 billion to the community annually through its Charities Trust for the betterment of Hong Kong.

Biography

Professor Joseph Galaskiewicz is Professor of Sociology and has a courtesy appointment in the School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona. Prior to coming to Arizona he was Professor of Sociology in the College of Liberal Arts and Professor of Strategic Management & Organization in the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He received his MA and PhD degrees in Sociology from the University of Chicago.
